On behalf of all AEGIS cohorts, AEGIS for Life will sponsor the first annual Jack Mezirow Tribute lecture in Milbank Chapel on June 6. Please plan to join us, and your fellow grads, as we present this special evening to the TC community and the public.

Ted Fleming, a TC alumnus who studied with Mezirow, will be our speaker. Ted was awarded M.A. and Ed.D. degrees under the supervision of Jack Mezirow where he wrote his thesis on Jürgen Habermas. He also worked with Paulo Freire. Recently he received the Jack Mezirow Living Theory of Transformative Learning Award (2014) for ‘outstanding contribution to the development of the theory of learning’ at the Transformative Learning Conference at TC.
