The JTS Library houses one of the largest collections of rare Judaica in the world. This series will highlight some of these beautiful and unique works. This session focuses on a Karaite Ketubbah, a beautifully decorated document dated from 1769. Dr. David Kraemer, Library Directory, highlights this ketubbah and the history of the Karaite community.

This is in conjunction with the JTS Library Exhibit, “To Build a New Home: Celebrating the Jewish Wedding” (May 18 – August 14, 2022).
