Even though we paid serious homage to some of the sweetest Columbia cats earlier this month, that doesn’t mean we play favorites when it comes to the love of our furry friends. In fact, Columbia is a haven for dog-lovers, a place where you can frequently find pups of all ages bounding across our plentiful green space.

Ahead of National Dog Day on August 26, we’ve collected 10 photos of the most spirited Columbia canines that we’ve seen on campus over the past few years.

This list barely scratches the surface, though: You’ll have to take a spin through #DogsAtColumbia to meet even more of the pooches who remind us that “the world would be a nicer place if everyone had the ability to love as unconditionally as a dog.”
