“La educacion es el pasaporte de tu vida,” or “education is the passport to your life,” is a phrase that @columbiacollege1754 sophomore Daniela Palacios heard a lot in her family growing up the daughter of Ecuadorian immigrants. It is something she carries forward in her work with @parakidsbooks, a media company dedicated to motivating all children to become or remain bilingual.📚

You may recognize Palacios from the free monthly bilingual readings and activities she leads on Columbia’s Manhattanville campus as part of @zuckermanbrain ‘s Saturday Science programming and Manhattanville Community Day.
