Organizers hope to support local merchants and also local entreprenuers, nonprofits, and neighborhood residents. Organizers will host a small number of vendors – no more than 10 at any time. Anyone with an interest in participating must complete this form.

The Jimmy Lategano Quartet – Members: Jimmy Lategano (vocals), Benno Marmur (guitar), Nathan Garrett (bass), and Kaori Yamada (drums) ABOUT LA SALLE OPEN STREET An “open street” is an effort by NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) that transforms streets into public spaces open to all. The La Salle Open Street is located on La Salle between Broadway and Claremont Avenue. The street will be closed to vehicle traffic (including no parking) from 4 PM – 9PM on Thursdays from April 28 -Oct 27. The La Salle Open Street organizers include Morningside Area Alliance, Morningside Merchants, International House, Manhattan School of Music, and Pisticci. Our goal is to bring the community together to connect with one another and enjoy locally-sourced arts and community programs.
ARTS AND OPEN MIC ON LA SALLE We want to give you a big shout out for bringing your talents to the neighborhood! La Salle Open Street welcomes neighborhood artists, including dancers and musicians to participate.
