Exemplary students committed to the service of others were honored for their contributions to the Teachers College community as part of the Provost Student Excellence Awards on Thursday, April 25. Hosted by Graduate Student Life & Development in the College’s Smith Learning Theater, the annual celebration recognized more than 17 students and initiatives as this academic year draws to a close.
“You are being celebrated tonight for what you have done as TC student leaders—and your leadership has mattered—it has brought awareness to issues important to student wellness and success, it has created bridges and community between students of different lived experience, made more students feel like they belong at TC, and help shaped their career opportunities,” shared KerryAnn O’Meara, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Provost and Dean of the College.
