Professor David Fishman, professor of Jewish History, has just returned from Ukraine. While there, he spoke with members of the Czernowitz/Chernivtsi communities, met with the History Department of Chernivtsi State University about the Jewish Archival Survey, and participated in a special roundtable discussion.

The roundtable, “Jewish Studies in the time of Russian Aggression,” included historians Yuri Radchenko and Artem Kharchenko, Elissa Bemporad (professor at CUNY) and JTS Professor Fishman.
