Daniel J. Wakin recently published The Man with the Sawed-off Leg and Other Tales of a New York City Block, which tells the history of the buildings at 330-337 Riverside Drive and traces the lives of the people who lived there over the past century. In addition to being an alumnus, Mr. Wakin is also the parent of two St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s alumni from the classes of 2008 and 2011.
