Meet Jude Fomeche (M.A. student, Social-Organizational Psychology)
Summer Intern, Russell Reynolds Associates
How He Makes an Impact: Specializing in executive recruitment in sports, Jude aims to help organizations identify transformational leaders who can foster a winning culture both on and off the field. In pursuit of this goal, he gained valuable experience in executive search through a summer internship with Russell Reynolds Associates.
How TC NEXT Helped: Jude first connected with Russell Reynolds Associates at the TC NEXT Employer Showcase in October 2023, which offered an opportunity to engage with their recruiters and quickly enter the internship pipeline. Jude also attended the TC NEXT “Mocktails and Mock Interviews” event, which provided him with valuable practice and feedback on his interview responses, bolstering his confidence for his first-round interviews.
What’s Next: Looking to the future, Jude intends to continue in the executive search industry, with the goal of making a lasting impact on sports leadership. Inspired by his roots, passion, and Christian faith, his ultimate ambition is to establish a nonprofit sports academy for foster children in his birth country of Cameroon.

Meet Ally Porzio (M.A. ’24, Higher and Postsecondary Education)
Career Education Content Manager at Hats & Ladders, an NYC-based education technology start-up
How She Makes an Impact: Ally focuses on helping young people build self-awareness and discern career paths that align with their values. Through this work, she aspires to dismantle limiting notions of “success” by fostering meaningful definitions of achievement for youth.
How TC NEXT Helped: Offering Ally valuable guidance during her job search, providing both resources and mentorship that emphasized self-compassion and resilience in navigating career transitions.
What’s Next: Committed to helping underserved communities become career-ready, Ally will support this effort through a new initiative this winter designed specifically for local, low-income youth ages 16-24.

Meet Vera Zhang (M.A. student, Social Organizational Psychology)

How She Makes an Impact: Vera aspires to be an HR leader in a global organization, fostering connections across cultures to build inclusive workplaces where individuals and teams can thrive. Her passion is rooted in her belief that people are the driving force behind every organizational success. Having grown up navigating diverse cultural environments, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of diversity, empathy, and collaboration.
How TC NEXT Helped: Vera is currently an Administrative Fellow at TC NEXT managing student employment initiatives. Viewing TC NEXT as the cornerstone of her career journey, Vera has worked with every coach on the team to gain invaluable insights through mock interviews, resume and cover letter reviews, and offer negotiation tips. She also attended TC NEXT’s Learn and Connect events, and Career Fairs, which have expanded her network and prepared her for future opportunities.
What’s Next: Vera will soon join Amazon Web Services in the HR Leadership Development Program at their New York office. A step towards her goal of becoming a global HR leader, the role will aid Vera in her journey to make an impact on people and organizations alike.
