Chapel with Dr. Dorrien
We invite you to a special chapel service this Wednesday at 12:00 PM in James Chapel for a preview of Dr. Gary Dorrien’s upcoming memoir, Over from Union Road: My Christian-Left-Intellectual Life, which will be published November 1st. Dr. Dorrien will be sharing insights from the chapter titled “Seminary Teachers of an Autodidactic Bumpkin Jock,” where he reflects on his studies at three seminaries, including Union.
This event offers a unique opportunity to hear Dr. Dorrien’s personal journey through theological education and his experiences with the mentors who shaped his intellectual path.
