Sing Sing Film Screening and Panel

Based on a true story, the 2024 feature film Sing Sing illustrates the life of Divine G (Colman Domingo), imprisoned at Sing Sing for a crime he didn’t commit, finds purpose by acting in a theatre group alongside other incarcerated men, including wary newcomer (Clarence Maclin), in this stirring true story of resilience, humanity, and the transformative power of art.

Join us for a screening of Sing Sing, followed by a panel discussion on the power of education in prisons and the roles colleges and universities can — and should — play to address the mass incarceration crisis in the United States.
