Biography:
After graduating from Sophia University in 1990, Shoko Suzuki joined The Japan Research Institute, Ltd. She received a master’s degree from the Hult International Business School (formerly the Arthur D. Little School of Management) in 1998, and she became an assistant product director at Johnson & Johnson (USA). After returning to Japan in 1999, she worked at Johnson & Johnson K.K. as a Product Manager and then joined Dell K.K. as a head of Client Product Marketing in 2000. She relocated to Singapore to serve as an executive assistant to the Asia-Pacific President. She was promoted to Executive Director of Marketing for Asia-Pacific Japan Home & Small Medium Business to cover eleven countries. She was appointed Senior Vice President, Marketing & New Business IMC at Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Limited. She then became Representative Director & President of AMO Japan K.K. (Johnson & Johnson Vision) in 2014, and in 2017, she served as Statutory Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of MetLife Insurance K.K. She joined Salesforce as Chief Marketing Officer for Japan and Korea in 2020.
