The study of the Jerusalem Talmud has been central to scholars at The Jewish Theological Seminary since the institution’s founding. This half-day symposium explores past and present contributions of JTS scholars as well as the future of the study of Jerusalem Talmud in the digital age. Presenters include Chancellor Shuly Rubin Schwartz; Israel Prize Laureate Professor Shamma Friedman; His Excellency, Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel; and distinguished scholars from JTS and abroad.
