Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Horn of Africa Fundraising Gala, hosted by the Somali Student Association and Ethiopian Eritrean Student Association. Together, we aim to support the communities in East Africa that have been deeply impacted by climate change, war, and famine. Many of our student members from countries around the horn of Africa and beyond have personal ties to these challenges, and we are coming together to help raise funds to provide essential resources and support initiatives that address these pressing issues. Your participation and contributions will make a meaningful impact in improving lives and building resilience within these communities.

The gala will feature inspiring performances, speakers, and dancing, celebrating the vibrant cultures of the Horn of Africa while raising critical funds for ARAHA (American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa). ARAHA provides essential resources such as food, clean water, and education to communities across East Africa, ensuring hope and resilience in the face of ongoing humanitarian crises. ALL ticket proceeds will be donated to ARAHA.

The event will consist of inspiring speakers, film presentations, dance performances, clothing/accessory/food vendors and more. All members of the immediate and extended Columbia community are welcome to attend. Dinner will be provided. Please dress your best! Cultural attire is encouraged.
