In observance of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene and Jewish Theological Seminary will present a reading of the inspiring play Der Nes in Geto (The Miracle in the Warsaw Ghetto), which was written and produced in New York in the autumn of 1944, just 18 months after the historic Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. This play brought a ray of hope through the story of the brave Jewish women and men who fought against all odds, beginning on the eve of Passover, with the message “We Are Here!”
