Climate/Environmental Justice: A Discussion of NYC’s Plans

Presented by Columbia Climate School & The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce this is the third year of this conference that looks at the Climate Change issue and its disproportionate negative impact on communities and countries of color.

Recent events continue to demonstrate how air quality gains can be challenged by climate change which endangers our health and encourages related economic disparities.

Come hear from local researchers, government agencies, and community leaders on the challenges New York City faces and learn about opportunities to empower communities like Harlem to lead the way into a cleaner, safer and healthier tomorrow.
