Unifying Stories Conference: “Storytelling Saves Lives: Discover the Power of Evidence-Based Storytelling”

Join Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess and her team for the Unifying Stories Conference at Teachers College, Columbia University, where we will unveil our newest project within our growing Resilience to Hate Platform. The conference will offer in-person training for educators and educational staff to harness the power of storytelling as a portal to violence prevention followed by an exhibition of the educational initiatives within the Resilience to Hate Platform. Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, the Executive Director of Unifying Stories, received a Research and Innovation Grant from the Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships in 2023 in support of this initiative.
For those who wish to join us remotely, please select this option when registering and a link to watch the training session will be provided to you.
All registered participants will be provided exclusive access to the Unifying Stories Curriculum after the conference. Lunch and Conference Materials will be provided to all in-person attendees.
Please note the following:
A) Registration is required for attendance at the Unifying Stories Conference and a form of official identification will be requested during the check-in process;
B) All registered in-person attendees will be sent a digital program that will highlight the conference schedule;
C) In-person attendees will be split into two groups after the morning session. So, one group will head to the exhibitions first followed by the second group to adhere to the occupancy limits within the Exhibition Spaces.
D) The Unifying Stories Conference has limited seats , so registration is on a first-come first-served basis. The event is co-sponsored by The International Interfaith Research Lab.
