Join NYC Parks, Columbia University in the City of New York, and Friends of Morningside Park to celebrate the reactivation of the waterfall at Morningside Pond, and the ongoing research and development in the Park.

Learn about water quality of the Pond and future projects around the Park. Entertainment and light refreshments to follow.

Now in its 17th year, City of Water Day is a region-wide day that champions a climate-resilient New York and New Jersey. Communities across all five boroughs, Westchester, Rockland County, and New Jersey will be partaking in free, family-friendly events on or near the water that celebrate the importance of the waterfront.

This event takes place at the Pond, at 114th Street.  Access from Morningside Drive and 116th Stairs or Morningside Ave and 114th Street.
