About this Event
Target Audience: Grades 6-8, 9-12, Educators, the Public
The vast and complex global agriculture and food system comprises many diverse systems, processes, and actors operating and interacting at different scales. Our agriculture and food systems have created significant environmental and ecological impacts as well as contributed to driving climate change. At the same time, these systems must also cope with the challenges of growing and producing nutritious food to feed people in the face of rising costs, land and water scarcity, and more frequent extreme weather and climate events. This session will unpack sources of agriculture and food GHG emissions and identify opportunities for transforming our agriculture and food systems to better serve our people and planet.
A link to join the session will be provided to all registered participants upon registration.
