Film Screening & Discussion. “Culture Vs. War”
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Ukrainian Film Club of Columbia University will screen the third and final installment of the new documentary series “Culture vs. War.” It is a collection of six documentaries shorts united by one theme: how Ukrainian culture was transformed into a weapon to repel the brutal Russian aggression. The two final documentaries to be screened feature the world-renowned poet Serhii Zhadan and musician Taras Kompanichenko. The films will be introduced by Yuri Shevchuk, who will also moderate the post-screening discussion.
