Friend or Foe? ChatGPT and AI for Artists
Can ChatGPT and AI be helpful tools for artists?
In this technical assistance workshop for artists, we will discuss finding your unique voice using Chat GPT to help craft meaningful artist statements and share examples of artists who use image AI creatively without copyright issues. The workshop will include short writing exercises to get you started, with time for discussion on the implications and use of these tools for artists today. Not a “how-to” AI workshop, the focus will be on technology as a tool – its implications, effects, and ways artists can use AI to support their work.
