Funeral for the Right Rev. Richard Grein
The Diocese invites clergy and faithful to a service celebrating the life and ministry of The Rt. Rev. Richard Grein, the 7th bishop of Kansas and the 14th bishop of New York, who passed away on October 8 at the age of 92. This liturgy will honor his enduring contributions to our church and his profound spiritual legacy.

The ashes of The Right Reverend Richard F. Grein have been received into the Cathedral by The Right Reverend Matthew F. Heyd. They will rest in St. Martin’s Chapel during the Vigil. All are invited to pay their respects through silent prayer and solemn witness, honoring the life and ministry of Bishop Grein.
