HSA’s FALL PRODUCTION!

If you know anything about schools, there are queen bees and wannabes. This is true in our latest theatrical production, ‘School Girls; Or the African Mean Girls Play.’

Set in the 1980s in Ghana, at an exclusive boarding school, the reigning queen bee gets dethroned by a new, biracial girl from America.

This play examines global themes of colorism, colonialism, beauty standards, power, and the nuances of female adolescence.

‘School Girls; or the African Mean Girl Play,’ opens on November 7, 2024.
