LET’S BEAT BREAST CANCER! The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is a non-profit organization that is gearing up for our nationwide Let’s Beat Breast Cancer campaign this fall, and we’d like to count on your support in spreading a life-saving message.
As a certified Food for Life instructor, I will be hosting an event at Thomas Paine Park at 40 Foley Square on Thursday, September 19, 2024 11am – 2:30pm to “beat the drum” for breast cancer prevention.
Highlights:
- DoMo the Jack of All Trades Drummers
- Speakers
- Health Information
For the past five years, we’ve teamed up with renowned breast cancer surgeon, Dr. Kristi Funk, and an expert team of advisors, physicians, and survivors to raise awareness about four lifestyle steps that can reduce the risk of breast cancer.
The four steps of the Let’s Beat Breast Cancer campaign are:
- Eat plant-based foods
- Exercise regularly
- Avoid alcohol
- Aim for an ideal weight
Together we’re saving lives, one bite at a time!
Please reach out with any questions.
