Recipes for Growing Food Literacy: Food Ed Conference & Awards
The Food Ed Hub at the Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education & Policy is hosting its 2nd annual Food Ed Conference and 4th annual Award Ceremony on Friday, May 10th from 8:30am-3:00pm at Teachers College, Columbia University.
The theme of the Conference is “Recipes for Growing Food Literacy” and will explore topics such as healthy eating, plant power, youth food justice, food education, school wellness, policy, and more. This event brings together educators, advocates, students, government agencies, and partner organizations from across the city for a day of hands-on workshops, tasty ideas, emerging nutrition research, and a celebration of our community Food Heroes.
