From Oct. 4 through Oct. 31, 2024, Reel Sisters is proud to present A State of Grace, a cinematic celebration of our ability to find joy, love and honor while overcoming challenging times. Reel Sisters 27th Anniversary Festival Season centers families, art, music, nature, comedy and parenthood as our women of color filmmakers share deeply personal stories about loss and joy. Living in a state of grace — wise advice given by the late poet Maya Angelou — allows us to find the courage to keep moving forward.
Reel Sisters Harlem kick off is supported by the West Harlem Development Corp., New York State Council on the Arts and National Endowment for the Arts.
