Short Circle: Art as a Spiritual Practice with Rev. Mira Sawlani-Joyner
Short Circles are two to three week classes, held on Zoom and led by Riverside clergy and ministerial staff. These classes will allow our Riverside community to connect around various topics and themes, deepening their faith and spirituality, and getting to know one another and the Riverside clergy team.
Join Rev. Mira for an inspiring journey into the sacred intersection of art and spirituality. Over two sessions, we will explore how creativity can become a transformative practice that deepens personal faith and enriches communal celebrations. Rev. Mira will share her own creative journey, offering glimpses of her personal artwork and the ways it has shaped her spiritual life. Together, we’ll reflect on the power of art to connect us with the divine, express our prayers, and foster healing and joy. This workshop is for everyone—whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you’ve been creating for years. All you need is an open heart and a willingness to explore.
