The 3rd Annual Youth Explosion
Hosted by Teaching A Generation (T.A.G), a Harlem based youth-focused program under The Community Initiatives of NY (TCIONY), the 3rd Annual Summer Youth Explosion is a vibrant community event created by youth, for the community. This celebration provides an opportunity for connection, fun, and togetherness—while showcasing the hard work of the young people who planned it.
The event is free and open to the public, featuring exciting activities such as water slides, bouncy houses, rock climbing, arts and crafts, and much more. Attendees can also enjoy live youth performances and take part in giveaways and raffles throughout the day.
This event is important for us as it celebrates the power of youth leadership and the importance of community engagement. It gives young people the opportunity to see their efforts come to life and to strengthen connections within the neighborhood.
