The Africa Center Studio: Women’s Creative Exchange continues with the next installment in our virtual workshop series. Workshop 2, titled, “Grow Better, Not Just Bigger: Building a Creative Business That Works for You”, will offer insights into self-styled, self-paced growth in business. This session is designed for women creatives who want to build and grow businesses that are sustainable, impactful, and deeply aligned with their values. By the end of this interactive session, participants will–through real stories, reflection exercises, and practical tools–be equipped to:
- – Define success through a lens of value, not just visibility
– Understand when a business should aim for growth
– Learn how to build practical systems based on local realities
– Engage in a collective reimagining of what sustainable business looks like for West African creatives
This initiative was designed specifically for African women navigating the complex terrain of creativity, business, and identity in a rapidly changing world. In addition to the opportunity to learn from leading industry insiders, three participants who submit a business plan will be selected to receive an award of $2,000 each.
