Founded by Marija Abney in 2020 in response to the murder of George Floyd, this collective uses the power of performance to uplift Black and brown voices through free, public arts programming.

Featuring some of NYC’s most dynamic artists, The Soapbox Presents has graced stages from Lincoln Center to Afropunk, earning recognition from the United Nations. Join us at Marcus Garvey Park for an unforgettable evening celebrating culture, expression, and the power of storytelling.
