Rebecca Merrill – Webmaster & Manager of Communications at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine

Rebecca Merrill is the Cathedral of St. John the Divine’s Webmaster and Manager of Communications. She is a nonfiction writer with an MFA from The New School and a BS in Journalism from Boston University. Rebecca has previously worked in book publishing and higher education, but was most influenced by her time working at a non-profit bookstore where she learned the power of pairing the arts with advocacy. In her role at the Cathedral, Rebecca coordinates and implements marketing and communications related print and electronic material for the Cathedral, including the editing and preparation of the Cathedral newsletter and other publications and the editing of content, data and images to support the Cathedral’s website. This position manages the Cathedral’s Internet presence, including ancillary social networking, and Cathedral wide news and updates.
